About this summer course
- Introduction to the use of color and line. First simple compositions, 1-2 figures and their interaction
- Introduction of the perspective angles, warped perspective, intentional distortion and line-color harmony. Drawing figures from imagination
- Understanding the motion, running and walking figures, full use of color as a extension of line and motion.
- Seated figure and interior, static/dynamic figures captured together.
- Drawing a piece that includes all of the elements studied in the previous days.
Participants will be introduced to drawing from imagination, use of soft pastels and charcoal simultaneously, get a grip of distorted perspective angles, motion, realistic and abstract elements of the face/body, use of color and understand the assembly of spontaneous composition involving figures and objects.

Misha Bart is a contemporary figurative artist with a degree in Chemical Engineering that he received from Politecnico di Milano. His technical background has a strong influence on the way the space, lines, values, and shapes are manipulated and expressed. Complexity, ambiguity, emotional charge, and realistic appearance are the main aspects of his work.
